What is confirmed
The Roblox badges API lists three chapter-related badges, each with a different award count:
| Badge | Lifetime awards | API-reported rate |
|---|---|---|
| Chapter 1 Complete | 102,441 | 13.5% |
| Go Deeper | 69,251 | 9.4% |
| Go Home | 42,511 | 5.8% |
Those counts are from 30 October 2026 at 20:20 UTC. Until this week the API returned only names; it now returns a description for each badge, and the descriptions settle two of the questions this page used to leave open.
The percentage column is the API's own rate, not a share of all players. We do not read it as difficulty.
What the badge descriptions actually say
| Badge | Its description, word for word | What that tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome | "You came to the park. It noticed." | Awarded on joining, nothing to chase. |
| Chapter 1 Complete | "You climbed out of Chapter 1." | The main milestone of the story run. |
| Go Deeper | "You chose to go deeper. He is glad you stayed." | You chose. It is a decision, not a speed or a collectible. |
| Go Home | "You chose to go home. Nobody leaves for long." | The other side of the same decision. |
| Untouchable | "Finish Chapter 1 without losing a life." | A condition on the run, not a third ending. |
Two things follow. Untouchable is not an ending and never was: it is a clean run of the chapter. And the branch badges are worded as a choice, which matches the on-screen prompt described below — the game records what you answered, not how you played up to that point.
Where you actually read the answer
Two places in the game carry the branch information, and neither prints an ending name:
- The conversation prompt. One recorded run shows Grinsworth saying "Come out and I might let you live" above two options: Come out and Stay. The prompt is the decision point.
- The badge list. After the chapter resolves, the badge you receive is the only label the game gives the outcome.
That is why every route shortcut you read online is speculation: the outcome is recorded on the badge, not on screen during play.
What stays unknown
Four things stay open, and the badge descriptions narrowed the list rather than closing it:
- How many endings exist. Two branch badges are confirmed and both are worded as a choice. Whether either has variants is not stated.
- Which prompt option produces which badge. The prompt text and its two options are recorded, and both branch badges are choices, but nothing joins a specific answer to a specific badge.
- Whether a bought extra life breaks Untouchable. The description asks for Chapter 1 without losing a life; whether the store's extra lives count as a loss is not stated.
- Whether the choice is reversible in one run. Automatic saving tells you a rerun is possible; it does not tell you whether one run can take both routes.
What a replay is actually worth right now
If your goal is completion, replaying for a different prompt answer is the only lever the evidence supports. Everything else — a hidden route, a timed decision, a second conversation — is unverified.
What you can check without guessing:
- Finish the chapter once and note which badge you received.
- If you replay, note the exact option you took at any prompt, so the result is comparable to the first run.
- Compare the badges afterwards. A different badge proves the option mattered; the same badge proves it did not.
That comparison is the first hard fact this page would gain, and it is worth writing down: nobody has published it yet.
What we will add, and when
We will not publish a route we have not walked. The next update to this page comes after either a recorded run of the opposite branch or a subtraction that clearly identifies which badge an option produces. When that happens, this page gains a branch table with the start point, the on-screen text, and the badge awarded.
Until then, the honest read is short: two outcomes exist, one prompt is a decision point, and the mapping between them is open.
Where to go next
Every badge and its award count is on the badges page. The conversation itself, and what the four survival tools do during it, is on Grinsworth. If you are replaying from the beginning, the beginner guide walks the chapter in order.
